Restock Rush tips: how to grow your supermarket faster
Restock Rush is a free supermarket simulator for Android by The Lion Vision. You stock shelves, work the till and reinvest every coin. This guide explains which products to unlock first, how to earn coins faster, how to use staff and how to stop thieves — with the real numbers from the game.
- Unlock water (60 coins) and bananas (150) as early as possible.
- Never let a shelf run empty — customers wait only three seconds.
- Upgrade shelves: every level raises that product’s sale price by one coin.
- Build long aisles past full shelves — passing customers buy on impulse.
- Hire a cashier early; the till is usually the bottleneck.
- Tap thieves the moment the ‘!’ appears: 8 coins each.
- Collect the free daily gift and the vault every time you play.
- Follow the quest chain — it always points to the next sensible step.
The first ten minutes
You start with one apple shelf, one pallet and sixty coins. Stand in front of the pallet and crates stack up in your arms (four at a time, one kind only), then step up to the shelf and the goods fly over. Customers take two to four items; from three on they use a trolley. At the till every item is scanned individually — stand behind the register when the queue grows.
Your first 60 coins go into water, the next 150 into bananas. Buy floor tiles only when you need space: each tile costs a little more than the last (25 coins plus 12 per tile already bought).
Which product to unlock next?
Unlocking a product includes its first shelf. ‘Profit per pallet’ is how much a full pallet earns you after purchase costs — a good measure of how much walking a product is worth. The five newest products arrive with the autumn update.
| Product | Unlock | Profit / item | Profit / pallet | Tip |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Start | +1 | 20 | Starter product, keep it full | |
| 60 | +1 | 18 | Get it right away — cheap, big pallets | |
| 150 | +2 | 40 | First real profit jump | |
| 200 | +2 | 30 | Solid, small crates | |
| 350 | +2 | 32 | Good value | |
| 450 | +2 | 40 | Big pallets, little walking | |
| 500 | +3 | 42 | Shelf upgrades pay off from here | |
| 700 | +2 | 32 | Cheap stepping stone | |
| 800 | +3 | 36 | More profit, smaller pallets | |
| 1,000 | +3 | 42 | Mid tier, crates of 5 | |
| 1,200 | +4 | 40 | Pricey, empties fast — needs staff | |
| 1,800 | +4 | 80 | Big pallets despite the price | |
| 2,600 | +7 | 84 | +7 per item — top margin | |
| 3,400 | +5 | 50 | Late game, pair with a buyer | |
| 4,500 | +6 | 60 | Top of the price ladder |
How to earn coins faster
- Upgrade shelves. Shelves grow from 16 to 24 to 36 items, and every level adds one coin to the sale price of that product. More stock also means fewer trips.
- Use impulse buys. Customers walking past a full shelf may grab an extra item (once per customer). Place full shelves along the way from the door to the till.
- Open more tills. Up to four tills are possible; with cashiers next to them the queue moves almost twice as fast.
- Serve special orders. A customer with a speech bubble wants one specific product. Get it onto a shelf within 60 seconds and they pay eight times its price as a bonus.
- Keep stock for the VIP. The VIP takes several of every product in stock and pays a multiple of the normal price — full shelves pay off twice.
- Collect the bonuses. The free daily gift, the vault (it fills with part of your till income), the sponsor by the door and the offline earnings when you come back all add up. Videos are always optional.
Using staff well
You can hire up to ten people and change their role at any time. Cashiers speed up the till, stockers carry crates from pallets to shelves and buyers reorder pallets automatically. A good early order: one cashier, then a stocker, then a buyer. The team boost speeds everybody up for a few minutes. With the autumn update come guards (up to two, they catch some thieves on their own) and training for more crates per trip and faster walking.
How to catch thieves
Every couple of minutes thieves walk in disguised as normal customers. Only when they grab something from a shelf do they change their look — a ‘!’ bubble and an alarm sound appear. From that moment you can tap them: every catch gives 8 coins, and if you catch one while fleeing, the stolen item goes back onto the shelf. Flip the open/closed sign at the door and neither customers nor thieves come in.
Common mistakes
- The shop is closed. If suddenly no customers come in, check the sign next to the door.
- Expensive products too early. Chocolate, toys or coffee empty fast and come on small pallets — without staff you spend all your time walking.
- A cramped layout. In build mode you can move and turn every shelf and till; wrongly built ones go onto the sale zone for half the price back.
