2. Overview

Restock Rush is a single-player game that works entirely offline. There are no accounts of our own, no registration with us, no chat or community features, and no access to contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location. Data leaves your device only for usage analytics, crash diagnostics, loading ads for the optional rewarded videos, in-app purchases you start yourself (processed by Google Play), the optional save backup via Google Play Games, and when Google Play shows you the rating dialog.

3. Data on your device

Your progress is stored locally only and never transmitted: coin balance, unlocked products, shelves with position, orientation, level and stock, pallets, tills, purchased floor tiles, staff, the shop name you chose, tutorial progress, quest stage, daily and weekly tasks, vault and the status of purchased content, plus your settings. The app keeps several backup copies of this save on the device. Notifications (from the autumn update): if you allow them, the app schedules reminders (e.g. for the daily bonus) locally on your device only — no push service, no device token, nothing sent to a server. Android 13+ asks for permission first; switch them off any time under Settings → Notifications. You can remove everything at any time via Settings → Delete save data; language and volume are deliberately kept.

4. Consent and withdrawal

Analytics, crash reporting and advertising require storing or accessing information on your device. We obtain your consent on first launch. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDDG. Without consent the game remains fully playable; only analytics and personalised advertising are omitted. You may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.

5. Analytics — Google Firebase Analytics

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, where applicable involving Google LLC, USA. Transmitted: a randomly generated app instance ID, device data (model, OS version, language, resolution), app version, install source, time zone, approximate country or region derived from the IP address, and gameplay events such as tutorial steps, product unlocks, purchases, completed tasks and quest stages, menus opened, language changes, advertisement offers, views and failures, cloud backup status, rating-dialog display and, from the autumn update, bonus-calendar claims, training purchases and reminder permission, opt-out and opens. For in-app purchases: product, price, currency and the Google Play order number (no payment data). Events contain no content you enter yourself.

6. Crash reports — Firebase Crashlytics

A crash produces a report with a stack trace, device model, OS and app version, free memory and a pseudonymous installation identifier, plus a few game values (coins, shelves, workers, unlocked products, elapsed play minute) because the same line crashes differently depending on the save state.

7. Advertising — Unity LevelPlay

Provider: Unity Technologies / ironSource Ltd. Restock Rush shows rewarded video only — ads you start yourself. No interstitials, no banners, nothing that opens unprompted. When you start an ad, your advertising ID (if permitted), IP address, device type, operating system, language and information about the ad are transmitted. Without consent to personalised advertising, ads are served contextually only. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency additionally asks whether the IDFA may be used.

8. In-app purchases — Google Play Billing

Restock Rush offers optional one-time purchases (Manager License, Starter Pack, Auto-Collector). Payment and payment data are handled exclusively by Google Play (Google Ireland Limited); we receive no card or account details. The app only receives a purchase confirmation (product, order number or purchase token, time, price and currency) to unlock the purchase and to re-assign it via Settings → Restore purchases. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

9. Cloud save via Google Play Games

So that your progress survives a change of device, the app can back up your save via Google Play Games services (Google Ireland Limited). On launch it attempts an automatic sign-in with your Play Games profile; without a profile, or if you decline, the game continues unchanged. While signed in, a copy of your save (the game data listed in section 3) is stored in the “Saved games” of your Google account at most every five minutes and fetched back after a reinstall. We get no access to your Google account; Google processes your Play Games profile as an independent controller. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (providing the backup feature). You can sign out and delete stored game data in the Play Games app or your Google account settings.

10. Rating dialog — Google Play In-App Review

Occasionally — at most once every 30 days and no more than three times in total — the app asks for a rating via Google Play's interface. The dialog is shown and processed by Google; we do not learn whether or how you rate.

11. Google Play

Download, installation and updates are handled by Google Play. Google processes data such as your account identifier, purchase history and device information as an independent controller. The app also uses Google Play services as a technical basis.

12. Resetting your advertising ID

  • Android: Settings → Google → All services → Ads → Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.

13. Transfers to third countries

The providers named also process data outside the EU, in particular in the United States, on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR) and, where the recipient is certified, the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).

14. Children

Restock Rush is not directed at children and does not participate in the “Designed for Families” programme. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 16 without a guardian's consent. Age rating: 3+ (IARC/USK).

15. Retention

  • Local save data: until you delete it or uninstall the app.
  • Analytics: currently 2 months for event-level data, as configured in Firebase.
  • Crash reports: generally 90 days after the last occurrence.
  • Advertising data: per the ad network's own periods.
  • Cloud backup: until you delete it in your Google account.
  • Purchase data: at Google Play per its own periods, including statutory retention obligations.

16. Your rights

Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21) and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). Because we cannot identify you technically, an access request needs the pseudonymous app instance ID — the simplest route is Settings → Send feedback inside the game. Supervisory authority: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover.

17. Changes

We update this policy whenever features, services or the legal situation change. The current version is always reachable from within the game via Settings → Privacy Policy.
